Air Transport was established in 1978 as US Airways and officially began operations in 1979. Later on, it adopted the name Interstate Airlines. The current name was used beginning 1988. On October 1, 1994, the company merged with ICX International Cargo Express. In February 1998, the company was purchased by Brink’s Company. Furthermore, ATI was sold to Cargo Holdings International (CHI) in 2006.
ATI is currently headed by President Dennis Manibusan.
