Steven Bangerter entered into the legal arena in 1993 after obtaining his Juris Doctor from Argosy University’s Western State College of Law. Opting to remain deeply engaged in the academic sphere as he built a career foundation, Mr. Bangerter joined the faculty at California State University – Fullerton where he functioned as an Adjunct Professor until 1997. Teaching a course on the legal aspects of business, he concurrently acted as an Associate Attorney at Cooksey, Toolen, Gage, Duffy & Woog, a firm based in Costa Mesa, California. Earning a promotion to Partner and a seat on the Board of Directors, he predominately took on cases that dealt with issues such as professional negligence, insurance coverage, elder law, and illegal business practices. Mr. Bangerter moved on to launch Bangerter Sheppard, PC in 2005, leveraging his five years of experience at Cooksey, Toolen, Gage, Duffy & Woog to the utmost degree as he set out to pursue new professional challenges.
Prior to his involvement in the legal sector, Steven Bangerter applied himself as a Radiation Therapist specializing in Intra-operative Radiation Oncology. He obtained his medical license from the University of Utah and received a Blue Ribbon Award from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology for a research project exploring irradiation and its effects on breast cancer patients
