The Bronco Wine Company owns more than 35,000 acres of vineyard across the Central Valley in California, with production and storage facilities in Madera, Escalon, Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and Ceres. More than 60 million gallons of wine are produced in a year, with annual sales approximated at 20 million cases.
The company is best known for the Charles Shaw varietals which are commonly known as Two Buck Chucks because they retail for $1.99 in Trader Joe's stores. But though affordable, the Charles Shaw Chardonnay beat out 350 other wines to bag double golds at the California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition in 2007.
