The Angelini Group was founded by his uncle Anacleto Angelini and he now sits at the head of the family business after his uncle’s passing in 2007. His business has interests in natural gas, timber, fishing, mining and copper. Artarchile is one of their publicly traded businesses that distributes fuel, runs shipping businesses and operates fishing ventures and invests in forestry and energy. Siemel and Eperva are two other business holdings that are offered to the public. Empreses Copec S.A. is the leading industry conglomerate in Chile and is considered as the largest in the world. This business is also headed by Roberto Angelini Rossi.
Rossi was born in Ferrara, Italy in 1948 and arrived in Chile at the age of three. He earned his degree in industrial, civil engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
