Fieri had no formal training in the field of culinary arts. However, during his teenage years, he worked as a server at numerous restaurants and eventually rose up to managerial ranks. Realizing his potentials, Fieri decided to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He went on to work at Stouffer’s, constructing and implementing various restaurant concepts in California and managing different food enterprises all throughout the state.
Fieri became a household name right after winning The Next Food Network Star. He was awarded by the network with his very own television series, Guy’s Big Bite, which went on to garner high ratings. Fieri became the face of the Network as his shows proved to be attracting more viewers than any other program in the network.
Today, Fieri continues to operate his own set of multi-awarded restaurants around United States and remains to be a prominent figure in food television.
