Her notable works include the creation of Childline India Foundation which has been a huge success. The foundation has answered about 150 million calls in India which were largely about abuse of children. To expand the success of her 24 hour emergency telephone service for children, she created the Child Helpline International. As an international provider of emergency telephone service to kids, they are able to come up with trends and identify underlying issues which they communicate to both governmental and non-governmental organizations. Poverty has always been the root cause of everything.
The foundation has reached to 94 countries with about 1.3 million children. Just recently she received the Ogunte Women’s Social Leadership Award for 2013.
